Yingfa. China's answer to Arena.
Yingfa (英发) has made competition swimwear in Dongguan since 1989 and has been on the FINA, now World Aquatics, approved list since 2009. It is the brand Chinese club and provincial swimmers train and race in, at roughly a third of Western prices. We import it the same way we import the carbon shoes: genuine stock, duties paid, returns in Switzerland. Sizes run small; read the size guide before ordering.
Racing legal, training tough
"FINA approved" on a product means Yingfa lists that model on the World Aquatics approved swimwear list, so it is legal in sanctioned pool competitions. The polyester suits keep their shape through a season of chlorine; the nylon training suits are softer and cheaper. For open-water and triathlon swims, any of the one-pieces and jammers work under a wetsuit or on their own.
Pool racers
The 982A one-piece and 9205 jammer are the everyday competition suits. The 925 kneeskin is the cheapest approved tech suit you will find.
Triathletes
Swim the lake in a 657 or a jammer and pull the wetsuit over it. Add the Y330AF goggles for wide sighting vision.
Clubs and parents
Order a set of training suits for the squad and pay once in CHF, no customs letters. Juniors fit XXS and XS; ask us for kids' models.
